How the "Adopt-a-Room" Program Works

All the rooms in the Ronald McDonald House are available for sponsorship. These include guestrooms, family room, kitchen, playroom, and others (see House Photos slideshow). The sponsorship levels are based on the actual cost of each room's furnishings and range from $9,000 to $27,000). The sponsor amount is payable in either one lump sum or in six (common rooms) or eight (bedrooms) equal annual installments. The room sponsorship period extends for six or eight years. One may renew and extend the sponsorship for another period.

In recognition of the donor's generosity, the House offers the following recognition:

• Plaque on door of room, viewed by hundreds of families and visitors over the duration of the sponsorship.
• Special annual acknowledgement in the Ronald McDonald House Newsletter (circulation 17,000)
• Web Page recognition on the Ronald McDonald House web site with an "Adopt-a-Room" page which includes a picture of the room, name of the room sponsor, and web site link to sponsor, if desired.
• Recognition Reception at Ronald McDonald House.
