Guests of the House pay only a minimal fee and for those unable to pay, there is no charge. Please consider a donation to help defray the costs of our guests.
RMHC qualifies as a 501c3 and therefore is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law. Please consult with your tax advisor.
Every weekend, the House is manned by a volunteer throughout the day and even overnight. These weekend managers make sure our guests have everything they may need, they provide security and comfort and oversee activities in the House held by outside groups. They give RMH the stability to provide families with a consistent level of quality service 7 days a week, 365 days a year! On the weekends, doctor appointments and clinic visits are minimal for our families. Therefore, they have more free time and the ability to interact with others.
Many weekend volunteers come to the House as a family – husband, wives and children! Volunteer children bring a very special gift to RMH. They are the perfect people for our guest children to play with. They can watch movies together, share games and just be kids! One weekend manager says her kids look forward to RMH weekends because they know their days will be filled with play dates and new friends.
